NESTOR PAIVA
'Nestor Paiva', (born in Fresno, California on June 30, 1905, died on September 9, 1966), was actor a prolific American actor of Portuguese descent.
He appeared in motion pictures and television shows from the 1930s to the 1960s such as ''Get Smart'', ''The Beverly Hillbillies'', and ''The Addams Family''. He played the part of 'Lucas' (the boat captain) in the 1954 horror film ''The Creature from the Black Lagoon''. He appeared in over 250 movies.
He married a Peruvian woman and had two children, Joseph & Caetana, who appeared with him in the 1956 movie ''Comanche'' with Dana Andrews. The son, Joseph, wound up becoming a noted singer in Peru. No indication of a divorce and why the children wound up the mother's country.
