NEW BREMEN, GEORGIA

'New Bremen' is a fictional setting created by Justin Achilli and Conrad Hubbard for an online chat based role-playing game set in the World of Darkness by White Wolf, Inc. This fictional setting ran nonstop, with the exception of technical difficulties, 24 hours a day from April 2000 to mid-2004, when White Wolf shut it down to make way for the new World of Darkness. The setting underwent the apocalyptic story events of the Time of Judgment during that time period.
The chat game featured numerous players, gaining recognition as a Google category of its own and producing numerous New Bremen related Yahoogroups.
The chat based role-playing game was run as a text-based game using a Java program called Digichat.
