Newfield Secondary School is a comprehensive school for 11-16 year olds. It is situated in the south of Sheffield in the area of Norton Lees. There are around 1200 students at the school.
The school is currently being rebuilt to bring new facilities so that the school can further education. Some of the new facilities include a recording room, a gym with seats for spectators and astroturf football pitches. On the lower field, there will also be a special school. It has been given the name Talbot. The school was started on in summer 2007 and is scheduled to be completed in autumn 2009.
