The Trinidad and Tobago Stock Exchange, another former tenant of the Union Club building, also occupies this building.[2]
While the Nicholas Tower is currently the tallest building in Port of Spain, the proposed ''Waterfront International Project'' is slated to include two 26-storey office towers. (this will be called the Government Campus Plaza)
Also, the waterfront will contain new skyscrapers that will exceed the height of the Nicholas Tower. This will leave Trinidad with a total of 19 skyscrapers. Another building that is under construction has had its height increased from 15 to 26 floors which will make it taller than the government campus plaza. The one broadgate building will cost $500 million TTD. The waterfront is growing quickly.
