NICK STONE (AUTHOR)

'Nick Stone' (born October 31st 1966 in Cambridge, England ) is a British thriller writer now married living in London. His father is historian Norman Stone[1] and his mother the niece of the finance minister in "Papa Doc" Duvalier's Haiti government.[2] Nick spent the first years of his life in Haiti, returning to England in 1970.[3] As a teenager he was a keen amateur boxer but gave it up to study history at Cambridge. He returned to Haiti as an adult which is where the plot for his first novel took shape.
