NIKOLAI KONDRATENKO

'Nikolai Ignatovich Kondratenko' (Николай Игнатович Кондратенко) (16 Feb. 1940, Plastunovskaya) is a Russian politician, most notable for having been the runner-up candidate of the Communist Party (KPRF) in 2003. Kondratenko was criticized for public antisemitic statements[1].
Kondratenko was a governor of Krasnodar Kray in 1997-2001, a position in which he was preceded by Nikolai Yegorov, succeeded by Alexander Tkachyov.
The Moscow Helsinki Group blames Kondratenko for officially supported xenophobia in his area.
