Trivia
★ ''No Future'' features the Meddling Monk who appeared in two First Doctor stories: ''The Time Meddler'' and ''The Daleks' Master Plan'' as well the Vardans from the Fourth Doctor serial ''The Invasion of Time''. Here the monk is given the name Mortimus.
★ The Brigadier visits the ''Top of the Pops'' studio and opens fire on Paul McCartney, while saying, "Chap with Wings, five rounds rapid!" This is a punning reference to the television serial ''The Dæmons'', where he gives the same order when faced with an animated, winged gargoyle.
