NORMAN'S CAY

'Norman's Cay' is a Bahamian island that served as the headquarters for Carlos Lehder's drug-smuggling operation from 1978 to around 1982. Lehder pushed the native population off of Norman's Cay and
gained full control of the island. As part of the Medellín Cartel, he used the island as a base for smuggling cocaine into the United States.
