Institution
Norte Vista (or NoVi) started as a junior high school in the early 1960's, since then it has expanded into a medium sized high school, in comparison to area high schools. Norte Vista's feeder middle schools are Wells and Loma Vista Intermediate. Norte Vista shares an intense rivalry with La Sierra High School. La Sierra and Norte Vista are currently the only high schools in the Alvord Unified School District, as a new high school will begin construction in the coming year or so.

Norte Vista Alma Mater
Sung to the tune of the German and Austrian National Anthem
NoVi High we love your colors,
That are shining red and white.
We'll preserve your glorious name
And we'll keep your honor bright.
Lead us down life's path,
Give us courage strong,
Through your hallowed halls we've roamed.
Let our motto be,
"God eternally."
Hail, Norte Vista High
All hail to thee!
