 | Vande Mataram - Oriental Gothic Fusion 16.08.08 my performance on Vande Mataram festival in Złote Tarasy, Warsaw. this choreography is nritta kind of dance, without meaning , just presentation of dance moves, expressing mood of music. i used there Indian Contemporary steps, with mostly bharatanatyam and Odissi. i put there also Kathakali , Kathak, Manipuri and Kuchipudi steps. i mixed it with bellydance isis wings. i was a little stressed while this performance, so while dancing i didn't notice, that i didn't keep low position of legs and i see, that they are streight. i'm not proffesional dancer! i still learn and i know , that i need lots of practise. |
