OC EO
'Óc Eo' is an archaeological site proposed to be named by the French archaeologiist site Louis Malleret in the south of An Giang Province, Vietnam, in Mekong River Delta region of Vietnam. This site may have been a busy port of Funan kingdom between 1st to 7th century AD. The excavation of the site began on 10th February 1942 after the French archaeologist had discovered this site with airial photographing. The excavation covers 450 ha and contains in it many relics and heritages of Funan kingdom.
