OLIMPO DE BAHíA BLANCA

'Olimpo' is an Argentine sports club located in the city of Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires province, established in 1910. Their main sporting activities are basketball and football (soccer).
Being from Bahía Blanca, Argentina's basketball capital, most of Olimpo's associates and energies were orientated to that sport. However, by the late 1990s, the football team became increasingly important as they were promoted several divisions, finally reaching first division in the 2000s.
Their nickname is ''Aurinegros'' ("Gold and blacks", after their colours).
After capturing both the Apertura and Clausura tournaments during the 2006-07 season, Olimpo returned to Argentina's top division in 2007-08.
