OLTU
'Oltu' (Armenian: Ւղթիկ ('Ughtik') or Ւլթիկ ('Ultik'); Georgian: ოლთისი ('Oltisi'); Russian: Олти ('Olti')) is a district of Erzurum Province of Turkey. It was historically considered to be part of the Tayk (or Tao-Klarjeti) region.
Though it may not be particularly well-known except to locals, Oltu is a place of high cultural significance: ''Oltu kebab'', the "ancestor" of the well-known Döner kebab of today, was invented here.
