OMICRON PERSEI


'Omicron Persei' (ο Per) is a star in the constellation Perseus. It also has the traditional name 'Atik' (also 'Ati', 'Al Atik', Arabic for "the shoulder").
Atik is a spectroscopic binary star consisting of a spectral type B1 giant and a type B3 dwarf orbiting each other every 4.5 days. It is most well-known as the solar system of the Omicronians on Futurama.
