OPPEANO

'Oppeano' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Verona in the Italian region Veneto, located about 90 km west of Venice and about 20 km southeast of Verona. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,018 and an area of 47.0 km².^[1]
The municipality of Oppeano contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cà degli Oppi, Mazzantica, Vallese, and part of Villafontana.
Oppeano borders the following municipalities: Bovolone, Buttapietra, Isola della Scala, Isola Rizza, Palù, Ronco all'Adige, San Giovanni Lupatoto, and Zevio.
