ORRELL, SEFTON
'Orrell' is an urban area near to the town of Bootle in Sefton, Merseyside. It is situated to the east of Seaforth, west of Walton and south of Ford with which it made up a civil parish called Orrell and Ford.
It is commonly referred to as 'Oral Park' or 'Oral Pork', much to the amusement of its residents. "Orrell Park" is the name sometimes given to an adjacent area, which forms part of Walton in the City of Liverpool. This area, located further east of Orrell, surrounds Orrell Park railway station, the closest station to Orrell itself.
