OTON ŽUPANčIč

'Oton Župančič' was Slovenian poet who was born in Vinici January 23, 1878 and died in Ljubljana June 11, 1949. Because of his numerous contributions to Slovenian literature he was dubbed the ''people's poet''.
The poem collection he is best known for was written for children, called ''Ciciban''.
