Sypnopsis

Welcome aboard the longest running sitcom on Philippine Television (spanning 12 successful years), 'PALIBHASA LALAKE'. This is a merry mix-up of fourteen powerful personalities, each with his own story to tell.
It all began in 1986 with a cast of seven, namely Joey Marquez, Richard Gomez, Gloria Romero, Cynthia Patag, Amy Perez, Carmina Villaroel (who then played Richard's younger sister, Cathy, a streetsmart tomboyish kid from the province, and Apa Ongpin (who played the role of a rich Castillian hunky nerd).
Over the years, many characters have come and gone (and stayed on), like Miguel Rodriguez (who played the role of another hunk who's always up to no good), the late Rene Requiestas (as Minerva's genius brother who's never taken seriously), John Estrada (as Johnny, a dumb hunk who's favorite endeavor is to invent things that never succeeded anyway). Later additions to the family include the Gwapings, namely Mark Anthony Fernandez, Jomari Yllana, and Eric Fructuoso( who pay regular teenage rascals always on the lookout for girls). Still later on, another bench brat joined in the fray, Jao Mapa.
Since the show was predominantly male, girls had to join in the fun too. They are Lindsay Custodio, Rica Peralejo, Jacqui Manzano, and Regine Tolentino, all fresh and talented, and sexy teens. The growth of the characters has proven an effective come on for the program. With the addition of comedy prince Anjo Yllana, who plays Tikboy, a lovable semi-retardate in search o his long-lost mother, the much needed boost has given the program the unbeatable 1-2 power packed punch which demolishes competition to a pulp.
