PANTHER CREEK HIGH SCHOOL


'Panther Creek High School' (PCHS) is located in Cary, North Carolina in the United States. It is part of the Wake County Public School System and, like other public high schools in the region, is on a 4x4 block schedule. Panther Creek was established in 2006 and its first graduating class, the Class of 2009, is primarily comprised of students who were redistricted from Apex High School, Cary High School, and Green Hope High School.

Panther Creek High School also features a superior award-winning Symphonic and Marching Band. Under the direction of Mr. David Robinson, the band currently has multiple band classes: Concert Band I, Symphonic Band I, Symphonic Band II, and Symphonic Band III (coming 2007-2008). There are also mulitiple Music Theory and Jazz Ensemble classes. Marching Band is required as the first semester of each of the symphonic band classes. This year, the band participated in State Contest, jazz festivals, multiple concerts and marching band performances, and parades (both around the Triangle Area and at Disney).
