The station has a waiting room and a coffee shop.
The SEPTA ticket office at this station is open weekdays 5:10 a.m. to 6:35 p.m. excluding holidays, Saturdays 7:50 a.m. to 3:40 p.m., and Sundays 8:25 a.m. to 3:40 p.m.. The station waiting room is open during these times.
The Amtrak ticket window is open Monday through Friday 6:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. An Amtrak QuikTrak machine is available when the station is open. There are 176 parking spaces at the station.
This station is in fare zone 4, and is 19.9 track miles from Suburban Station. In 2003, the average total SEPTA R5 weekday boardings at this station was 1,462. In Federal Fiscal Year 2006, there were 80,936 Amtrak boardings plus alightings at this station. Paoli is the 5th busiest Amtrak station in Pennsylvania and 4th busiest in the state serviced by the ''Keystone Service'' [2]. Additionally, SEPTA bus routes 133, 204, and 206 also serve the station.
Plans have been drawn up for an expanded Paoli station on the site of the former Pennsylvania Railroad/Amtrak/SEPTA train shed and repair facility in Paoli. This facility was contaminated with PCB's; environmental remediation of the shed property where the future station may stand was completed in 2005 as a Superfund project.
