'Parc Jarry' or 'Jarry Park' is a large urban park in the Villeray neighbourhood of Montreal. The Jarry Park Stadium which is located in the SW corner of this park was home of the first Montreal baseball team and also was host to Pope John Paul II to whom was dedicated a Hall which is now district police station 31 (Villeray).
There are baseball, cricket and soccer fields, a skate park, tennis courts, a public pool a basket-ball field, an artificial lake and a lovely walk-in under trees.
In addition there is the monument ''Paix des enfants'' (''Peace of the children'') which consist of violence toys fused together and set into the ground.
The park limits are from Faillon Street on the south east to Jarry Street on the north west and from ST-Laurent Boulevard on the north east to the Canadian Pacific track on the south west.
The park was named to honor Raoul Jarry (1885-1930), a member of Montreal's City Council.
