PARINACOTA PROVINCE
'Parinacota' is a province in Tarapacá Region in Chile. The capital is Putre. It is named after the Parinacota Volcano.
On October 3, 2007, the new Arica-Parinacota Region will begin operations, of which Parinacota Province will form a part.
