PASADENA HIGH SCHOOL (PASADENA, CALIFORNIA)
'Pasadena High School' ('PHS') is a four year comprehensive secondary school located in Pasadena, California. The school was first established in the late 1880s.[1]
Approximately 2900 culturally diverse students attend each year. The student body is made up of 48% Latino/Hispanic, 25% African-American, 24% are Caucasian (or "Other"), and 3% is Asian or Pacific-Islander.
PHS is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
PHS is the most populated high school in Pasadena, California; in addition, residents of Sierra Madre and Altadena are zoned to Pasadena High School.
