PAT MORRIS NEFF


'Patrick Morris Neff' (26 November 187120 January 1952) was governor of Texas from 1921 to 1925. He was a Democrat and received a degrees from Baylor University and the University of Texas at Austin. He would later serve as Baylor's president from 1932-1937.
Neff's mother would later donate land which would become the first state park in Texas, Mother Neff State Park.
Pat Neff Elementary School in Houston was named after Neff.
