'Peace TV' is an Islamic TV network, which is broadcasted 24/7 from Mumbai, India.^[1]
Peace TV programs and advertisements are mostly in the English language but a considerable number of programs are also in Urdu. Since January 21, 2006, Peace TV channel is being telecasted to numerous countries around the world, including in Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Africa and Australia.^[2][3] Its director is an Islamic scholar, Zakir Naik.
The network covers live events^[4], and regular programs.

History

Peace TV was launched on Arabsat on satellite BADR-3 in October 2006.^[5] In November, it was available on BADR-3 and BADR-C.^[6] In 2007, Peace TV returned to BADR-4,^[7] and became available on PanAmSat PAS-10.
The channel is also available on cable TV in the Indian city of Pabna.^[8]
