PHIL SAYER
'Phil Sayer' is a British professional voice artist. In 2003 he partnered with his wife, Elinor Hamilton to form Sayer Hamilton.
The automated voice system at Birmingham New Street Station which tells a train user if a train has been cancelled or delayed as well as if it is approaching a platform is voiced by Phil Sayer. His voice is also used in automated information systems in railway stations across the UK - including most stations operated by Southern Trains between London Victoria and the Sussex Coast.
Meanwhile, Elinor Hamilton can be heard doing the same job on several stations on the London Underground system's Northern, Piccadilly and Jubilee lines.
The couple also provide voices for radio and television commercials and corporate productions.
