PI ARIETIS
'Pi Arietis' (π Ari / π Arietis) is a star system in the constellation Aries. It is approximately 603 light years from Earth.
The primary component, 'π Arietis A', is a spectroscopic binary which is classified as a blue-white B-type main sequence dwarf with an apparent magnitude of +5.26. It's two components have an orbital period of 3.85 days and are separated by approximately 0.00004 arcseconds. At 3.2 arcseconds from the binary is 'π Arietis B', which is a white A-type main sequence star with an apparent magniutde of 8.8. It is probably an optical companion. At 25.2 arcseconds from A is 'π Arietis C', which is a magnitude +10.9 yellow-white F-type main sequence star.
