PIETRO AMATO

'Pietro Amato' is a Montreal French horn player. He plays with three bands: Torngat, Bell Orchestre, and The Luyas. Amato is also a touring member of Arcade Fire. In 2006, he performed along with Bell Orchestre at the Montreal Jazz Festival.
Amato is a founding member of Torngat, his longest standing musical project. In July of 2006 a stand-in temporarily replaced Amato for Bell Orchestre's European tour while he devoted his time to Torngat's next album, due out in the spring of 2007.

★ In 2005, Amato performed "Rebellion (Lies)" with Arcade Fire on ''The Late Show with David Letterman''.
