PIMONTE

'Pimonte' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Naples in the Italian region Campania, located about 30 km southeast of Naples. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 5,946 and an area of 12.5 km².^[1]
The municipality of Pimonte contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Centro, Tralia, and Franche.
Pimonte borders the following municipalities: Agerola, Castellammare di Stabia, Gragnano, Positano, Scala, Vico Equense.
