PLAZA DEL NORTE
'Plaza del Norte' is a regional shopping mall located Hatillo, Puerto Rico. It is the largest shopping center in the northwest of Puerto Rico, and the main shopping center in Aguadilla and Arecibo regions, followed by Aguadilla Mall, Plaza del Atlantico in Arecibo, and Puerto Rico Prime Outlets in Barceloneta.

History
'Plaza del Norte' opened its doors in 1992. In 2005 the mall was acquired by, Developers Diversified Realty Corporation (DDR), which is the company that currently owns the center.
Today
'Plaza del Norte' is the largest shopping center in the region. The mall consists of a total of 122 stores and fast food restaurants. It is achored by Wal-Mart, Sears, JCPenney, and Pueblo Supermarket.
