PONTARDDULAIS

'Pontarddulais' (pronounced pont-ar-dill-ice)is a town in south Wales. It is situated some 16 km (10 miles) north west of Swansea city centre.
The town has a few schools and churches in it. Pontarddulais Primary School, Pontarddulais Comprehensive School, Bryniago School and a few other Welsh-speaking schools. Pontarddulais Comprehensive and Primary are English-speaking schools, but do teach the Welsh language. The local railway station is served by the Heart of Wales Line.
The town contains a relatively high proportion of Welsh speakers.
