PORT GLASGOW F.C.
The 'Port Glasgow Juniors F.C.' are a Scottish football (soccer) club, currently based in the town of Greenock, Inverclyde. Nicknamed ''the Undertakers'', they were formed as Port Glasgow Athletic Juveniles F.C. in 1948 as an offshoot of Clune Rock Juveniles F.C. They stepped up to the Junior ranks a year later and obtained a place in the Central Junior League. They are not related to the pre-War Port Glasgow Athletic Juniors F.C. who disbanded in 1938. Their first ground was Woodhall Park, Port Glasgow where they played until being evicted by the local council in 2000 to make way for an industrial development, which has not transpired. They now play at Ravenscraig Park in Greenock, although moves are being made to relocate them back to Port Glasgow. Currently playing in the West Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association, they wear white striped uniforms with a black trim.
