'Post-Gazette Pavilion' (sponsored by the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette), formerly known as Star Lake Amphitheater, is an outdoor amphitheater in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania, United States, about 25 miles outside of Pittsburgh. The Post-Gazette Pavilion is owned and operated by Live Nation.
Post-Gazette Pavilion holds approximately 23,000 fans - 7,100 in a reserved seating open-air pavilion and an additional 16,000 on a general admission lawn. In 2006, the venue hosted 29 concerts, 5 of which were sell-outs: Rascal Flatts, Jimmy Buffett, Dave Matthews Band, Kenny Chesney and Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, and Ozzfest makes a stop here too.
The nearest campgrounds to the venue, Bennett Acres campground [1], is less than 2 miles away on Bennett Acres Lane.
