POSTPATH EMAIL AND COLLABORATION SERVER
'PostPath Email and Collaboration Server' is a commercially-supported Linux-based messaging and collaborative software targeted as plug-compatible drop-in alternative to Microsoft Exchangeâ„¢.
The plug-compatibility is achieved by supporting Exchange-compatible network protocols at the server. The effect is that all Microsoft or Microsoft-enabled software (whether Outlook™, Active Directory™, existing Microsoft Exchange™ servers, or other applications like Blackberry™ Gateway) communicate and interoperate with the PostPath Server using the same network protocol commands as they do with Exchange™ enabling fully-functional interoperability and feature support. While “drop-in†simply means that when deployed, the new server does not require changes to existing desktops or server ecosystem infrastructure.
