POTENZA PICENA

'Potenza Picena' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Macerata in the Italian region Marche, located about 30 km southeast of Ancona and about 15 km northeast of Macerata. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 15,217 and an area of 47.6 km².^[1]
Potenza Picena borders the following municipalities: Civitanova Marche, Montecosaro, Montelupone, Porto Recanati, Recanati.
