PREMIER CHRISTIAN RADIO

'Premier Christian Radio' is a British Christian radio station based in London, England.
It features news, discussion and teaching from an evangelical perspective, as well as different forms of worship music. It is available in the London area on 1305, 1332 and 1413 medium wave and on DAB. Premier can also be heard nationally on Sky digital (channel 0123), Virgin Media cable (channel 968) and Freeview (channel 725) and globally via their website www.premier.org.uk. Their application for a national DAB licence as part of the National Grid Wireless was turned down in summer 2007, despite a petition of almost 72,000 supporters. Its broadcasters include Cindy Kent, former singer with the 1960s folk group the Settlers.
Recently ''Premier'' have launched an on-line television channel,Premier.tv, where the viewer can choose what they want to watch rather than follow a set schedule.
''Premier'' has official charity status and offers services such as prayer lines.
They also own part of Christianity Magazine, Youthwork Magazine and Christian Marketplace.
''Premier Christian Radio'' has in the past received an official warning from the Radio Authority for apparently ridiculing other religions and homosexuality. [1]
