PRINCE MURAT
'Prince Murat' was a title created by Emperor Napoleon I for his brother-in-law Joachim Murat who would serve as King of Naples. On the 5 December 1812 Joachim's second son Lucien was created Prince of Pontecorvo in succession to Jean Baptiste Jules Bernadotte by an Imperial Decree. The Prince of Pontecorvo title is still used to this day for the heir to the Prince Murat.
