PROJECT H.A.M.M.E.R.

'''Project H.A.M.M.E.R.''' is a new Nintendo franchise on the Wii[1] developed by Nintendo Software Technology. No information on the game had been released to the public or media since the game's original announcement at E3 2006, and rumors began circulating in mid-June, 2007, that the game was not going to be released, and that the development team had gone to work on other games.[2] Nintendo confirmed at E3 2007 that development is currently on hold.[3] Beth Llewelyn, senior director of public relations at Nintendo of America, made a point to note, however, that despite the game not being a focus of Nintendo’s, ''Project H.A.M.M.E.R.'' “may come back” in the future.

Story

M-09, the protagonist of the ''Project H.A.M.M.E.R.''

Killer robots are attacking major cities across the United States, and the military is powerless to stop them. Players control one of ''Project H.A.M.M.E.R.''’s cyborg prototypes: half-man, half-machine, with an extraordinary weapon – and the power to save the world.
“Grab the Wii Remote and start swinging. Equipped with a hammer of amazing strength, players represent the only hope against an unstoppable army of marauding automatons. Players use the Nunchuk controller in one hand to maneuver through a variety of vast and detailed environments. They use the Wii Remote in the other just like a real hammer to control the hero’s weapon. Swing the controller side to side to make the in-game hammer send enemies flying. Lift it into the air and bring it down to smash robots to smithereens. Use the A button for quick hammer flurries.”
Upon close inspection of the E3 2006 gameplay videos, a woman by the name of Natasha is visible contacting M-09.

Gameplay

This hammer is the primary weapon of M-09. However, little else is known of the gameplay of ''Project H.A.M.M.E.R''. So far the graphics of ''Project H.A.M.M.E.R.'' are all that is truly showcased in the minute amount of information regarding the game.
