PROVINCE OF PESCARA
The 'Province of Pescara' (Italian: '''Provincia di Pescara''') is a province in the Abruzzo region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Pescara.
It has an area of 1,225 km², and a total population of 295,463 (2001). There are 46 comunes (Italian: ''comuni'') in the province. At May 31, 2005, the main communes by population are:
