PROVINCE OF CAGLIARI
'Cagliari' (Italian: 'Provincia di Cagliari'; Sardinian: 'Provìntzia de Casteddu') is a province in the autonomous island region of Sardinia in Italy. Its capital is the city of Cagliari.
It has an area of 4,470 km², and a total population of 543,310 (2001). There are 71 ''comuni'' (singular: ''comune'') in the province[1].
