PROVINCE OF SAVONA
The 'Province of Savona' (Italian: ''Provincia di Savona'') is a province in the Liguria region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Savona.
It has an area of 1,545 km², and a total population of 272,528 (2001). There are 69 ''communes'' in the province ([1]). As of May 31, 2005, the main communes by population are:
