PROVINCE OF VERCELLI
'Vercelli' (Italian: '''Provincia di Vercelli''') is a province in the Piedmont region of Italy. Its capital is the city of Vercelli.
It has an area of 2,088 km², and a total population of 176,829 (2001). There are 86 ''communes'' in the province (source: Italian institute of statistics ''Istat'', see this link).
