PUMPKINLAND
'Pumpkinland' is a nickname given to the rehearsal and recording studio owned by The Smashing Pumpkins. It is located in downtown Chicago, Illinois.
It is believed to have been purchased by the band in 1994 after the success of Siamese Dream. Most of the album ''Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness'' and its associated b-sides and outtakes were recorded at Pumpkinland. It was also the location for the recording of the infamous "666" videos, in which the band rehearses a multitude of Mellon Collie era tracks. Billy Corgan, the Smashing Pumpkins' frontman, recorded his first solo album ''TheFutureEmbrace'' at Pumpkinland in 2005 after the breakup of the band.
