RAMBO, BROOKLYN

'RAMBO' (an acronym for "Right After the Manhattan Bridge Overpass") is a small neighborhood in Downtown Brooklyn. Its borders are Flatbush Avenue Extension, Tillary Street and the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway (BQE). The only eatery in RAMBO is a 24-hour McDonald's. RAMBO used to be part of Vinegar Hill until the 1950s, when the construction of the BQE effectively isolated it from surrounding areas.
