Conferences

The Radio Academy runs a range of conferences throughout the year. The biggest is the Radio Festival. Others look at music radio and speech radio.

Awards

The Radio Academy runs the UK's most prestigious radio industry awards, the Sony Radio Academy Awards. Often referred to as 'the Sony Awards' (after their principal sponsor), the awards celebrate everything from the biggest and best national radio shows to small shows by local stations. Radio stations or DJs wanting to enter the awards must edit the best bits of their show together. The winners are determined by a panel of Judges.
