RAMACCA

'Ramacca' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Catania in the Italian region Sicily, located about 140 km southeast of Palermo and about 35 km southwest of Catania. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 10,630 and an area of 305.8 km².^[1]
The municipality of Ramacca contains the ''frazione'' (subdivision) Libertinia.
Ramacca borders the following municipalities: Agira, Aidone, Assoro, Belpasso, Castel di Judica, Lentini, Mineo, Palagonia, Paternò, Raddusa.
