RAY EDMONDS
'Ray Edmonds' (born April 25, 1936, Grimsby) was an English professional player of English billiards and a top-class amateur snooker player, winning the World Amateur crown twice in the early 1970s. He was less successful as a professional, but became World Professional Billiards Champion despite never winning any major snooker titles. He set up the Ray Edmonds Snooker Centre in Grimsby, and until recently was a member of the BBC snooker commentary team.
