The Reichsgerichtsgebäude in Leipzig

The 'Reichsgericht' has been the highest court of the Deutsches Reich. It was established on the first of October 1879 when the Reichsjustizgesetze came into effect. Immedeatly after having defeated the German Empire the Winners of World War 2 declared the Reichsgericht to be dissolved.
After the reunification, the former Reichsgericht building in Leipzig has been made the seat of the Bundesverwaltungsgericht.
