REIDAR HJERMSTAD
'Reidar Hjermstad' (born 16 October 1937) is a former Norwegian cross country skier who competed in the 1960s and 1970s.
In 1963, Hjermstad won two events at the Lahti, Finland ski games, earning a Salpausselä Medal. For his Lahti successes, Hjermstad earned the Norwegian Sportsperson of the Year in 1963. He also was a biathlete, winning one national title.
Hjermstad's best Olympic or World Championship was 4th in the 50 km at the 1972 Winter Olympics.
He was awarded the Holmenkollen medal in 1971 (Shared with Marjatta Kajosmaa and Berit Mørdre Lammedal.).
