REPUBLIC OF IRELAND B NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM

'Republic of Ireland B' is a secondary football team run occasionally as support for the Republic of Ireland national football team. At times they have played other nation's full teams; they have also played matches against 'B' teams from other football associations.
After a gap of seven years, B games have been resurrected under Staunton's reign as senior team manager, with Pat Devlin appointed as B team coach.
The most recent game was against Scotland B at Dalymount Park, Dublin on November 14, 2006 which finished 0-0.
